check back in september for news on our 2019-20 season!
It has been a great summer for Agora Dance! We were thrilled to dance for both new and returning audiences this summer, and we’d like to thank everyone who came out to see us. We presented both new and revisited works, sharing “Two Truths and a Lie” as part of Halycon’s By The People at the Smithsonian Arts + Industries Building in June. Then—after an action packed five weeks in the studio—we premiered our new family-friendly production “Snowstorm in July: a dance journey through the seasons” at Baltimore’s Modell Lyric Opera as part of Artscape, America’s largest free arts festival.
Sorry you missed
Two Truths and a Lie weaves together seven short pieces responding to what it means to tell a lie. From questioning how some particularly damaging lies reverberate through society to closing with an upbeat dance-fest set to nonsense French rock and roll, Two Truths and a Lie presents a little something for everyone.
